HTML 5 YouTube Masthead
This masthead unit was designed for the DoubleClick Rich Media HTML5 Challenge and has been awarded by a panel of creative leaders, based on artistic merit, creativity and innovative use of HTML5. Our idea was to engage users with an entertaining and playable creation based on the theme of discovering and travelling. The creation invites them to fly over France by air baloon and discover from sky various famous places, such as the Effel tower, Notre Dame de la Garde in Marseille or Le Château de Versailles. Thus, we made use of the recent possibilities allowed by the HTML5: W3C Geolocation standard, WebGL, video and audio tags. Here is the demo : www.vue-du-ciel-en-html5.com
